Charles I, Royalist badge by Thomas Rawlins c.1649 in gilt silver. Obv. bust facing right, draped and with lace collar, legend surrounds, Rev. crowned Royal Arms. Top suspension loop broken, later pierced within mount with resulting split as shown. Ornate loop a later addition, likely Victorian. Some wear to the high points otherwise VF. Scarce. [Eimer 167b]
