1853 Florin, "ONC TENTH", Victoria. Graded NGC MS63. Unattributed variety for the specialist collector, Bull 2828 with Onc Tenth in legend (Scarce). Few seen, even less evidently recorded. CGS have recorded just one at grade 45. A superb coin in it's own right with lovely purple hues over lustre. We note an example ex-NGC MS63 sold through London Coins in 2016 at £420+hammer with this a finer example in our opinion. A must for any serious florin collector.
